MROJ reports that very early no series rifles may have some strawed parts: sight spring, ejector spring, trigger, and sight slide buttons.

I was confused because I could not relate the D swivel to the 99 long.

Never saw a long with a D swivel.

The T 38s series rifles did not begin with I, or one; but with the 20th.

Do you have Frank Allans' T 38 book? A very good reference.

The 'factory' set up was definitely not free floated on the T 99.

It will be interesting to see what you achieve.
