I have the three screws on the front band but the top of the stock is under the rear band so that makes it a duffel cut model by your description above.

Are the recessed markings in white something that was added later to highlight them or is it original to manufacture process, a lack of natural wear, or both ?

The same safety button and spring just came out on me today while I was checking around for inspection marks.

I think I will take mine in and have it completely checked out and provide the advice ...
