I have a U S CAL 30 and the bolt does not match on it either. Be glad to have the study over here but the Midnight studies at Bobby's are much more in dept. Smile

It seems I read one time that in the early 1900's the Japanese got gun steel from Sweden - anyone else ever read this? riceone.
