Always looking for late war improvised or "last ditch" grenades. Inert only. Also like Japanese mines of all types. Deactivated material only. THanks. Jim B

I don't have any late war grenades, but I saw a really neat stick grenade that was made from an actual soup can. Now that is improvised.

Hello,
I have several "pipebomb" japanese grenades that look like they have been made from sections of Gas pipe. All were found on Luzon in pretty good condition in the caves near Clark airfield. Super crude friction fit closing disks with a 22 cal fuze. Seems quite dangerious to the thrower! I also have a sand cast mold type 97 that is delightfully crude. The tin can grenade seems quite interesting. I have seen ground recovered German WWI Tincan stick grenades on ebay. Love that late war improvised stuff! MY collecting interest is mostly Japanese WWII. Jim

Japanese ordnance collector seeks INERT ordnance. Deactivated unusual grenades, mines and empty bombcases. Inert material only.
