Is there such a thing? I was watching a documentary with actors portraying soldiers at Tarowa and one had a left handed Arisaka.

To the best of my knowledge there were no left handed arisaka's. Doesn't mean there aren't any, just means I haven't seen or hear of any.
In movies, and pictures, what appear to be left handed guns are normal weapons they just have had the print/negative reversed.

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

I thought about the reversed image, but the other rifles were right handed. I'll have to watch it again.

My Granddad ran theaters for years, and had a fair amount of trouble with kids splicing the film back together wrong. The footage we see today, was shot and edited by hand in, where we can do it electronically today, back then they physically cut and spliced sections of footage, redubbed audio to match the scenes, and if a piece of footage was reversed/backwards in the final print, it stayed that way. Look for the entire image to be reversed, buttons, insignia, the cutout on the right side of 38s, and drain holes/swivels on 99s....

No left handed arisakas, just reversed pictures as Trey says.
