Trey and Mike you both talk about an "A" receiver. What exactly do you mean by that? I have never heard that before.

Also did the 25th series have inspection marks on the stock?

Chip, there were no other numbers or letters anywhere. Except on the floorplate in front of the front screw. It was the Letter N and of course the SN was in front of the trigger guard. , 943. ...

Also the floor plate is not Hinged.
It is removable.
Action Type is Magazine.

Let me know if you need any other info.
