The attached pictures illustrate a rare Type 66 Siamese Pistol.
It is a single-shot, top-break pistol designed to fire the Type 66 8x52R GALLERY cartridge. Dangerously, it will chamber the full-power T-66 Ball cartirdge. Several of these are in Thai museums and at least two are in the U.S. High serial number is 33 which recently surfaced at a gun show.

It was beleived to be some kind of target practice, yet the sights were not adjustible. Very strange bird indeed. Here are a few more photos of examples in Thai museums.
