date of manufacture for 99 Toyo Kogyo?

I recently bought a T99 Arisaka (Toyo Kogyo arsenal) 33 series online. I am wondering if there is any way to know the date of manufacture by looking at the serial number? My SN is 18727.

According to Shannon Zeigler's Research, best guess is April/May 1944. Anything you see is a guess. Even the actual pruduction figures reported after the war do not match known production totals, so any dating, is best guess, and some are better guessers than others...
