I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

I'm here, my display is set up. Unfortunately as I agreed to help with the website my display is not eligible for an award. Oh well. Some nice stuff, beautiful 30 long, 31st series with canvas case it was shipped back in sold cheap, the Olde One has some interesting offerings, especially rear ammo pouches a couple sleeper rifles. A fair amount of bayonets. I bought a trainer bayonet with the welded frog loop. A few of the Polish .22 trainers, asking $200, are here as well. In all a nice show. wish I had some money, I'm jonesing for a single barrel flare pistol in the canvas holster, and the 30 long, if someone would like to wire me $1400 for the pair, I'd be muchly appreciative...But, .If I have to choose, I'll take both...

Display is Japanese Handguns...

Bayonet

Got to spend a lot of time with the OldeOne and Miss Ruth. Always a pleasure. They had a brillian display of Occupation/Invasion Currency. 1st place by the way....

Trey, I really like that JIM display even if the old one put it together. Believe that weld on the bayonet is a new one for me. Looks like everyone had a good time. Really to bad you couldn't get any help on the Type-10 and Type-30, I guess the extra JIM wasn't going to cut it, huh?

Those guys wouldn't honor invasion currency (Japanese or Confederate) for either item, what is the world coming to.

Next show is June 23rd and 24th, same Bat-Times, same Bat-Channel...Over 800 paying visitors this time and it got busy on Sunday for a couple hours too. This show is growing.... It's about halfway from Birmingham and Nashville so it does have potential...If each member of the public brought one thing reasonably priced to sell, more and more dealers might take the plunge, just something to think about when you go to a show...
