Hello gents !
I just bought a near mint T14 19.5 date . All matching . The same guy I got it from also has another one 18.3 date . I have taken it apart and all #s match including the clip . The bore is near mint and is a tight weapon . The bad is, finish is a (conservative) 30% , the firing pin needs re-tipped , and it needs a clip/mag release spring. What would be the absolute TOP dollar I should offer for a pistol in this condition . I paid $375 for the mint one (19.5) as low as I could get him to go . So I may have paid to much . But it is in such good shape I couldn't resist . But for the other one described above I do not want to get Taken . Any advise will be greatly appreciated as I know little on Japanese weapons values . Thanks ,

There is no set price for anything that is collectable. T14's are not like Ford Trucks, every dealer has a bunch on the yard. If you find something you like and can afford make the best deal you can and get it. Collecting is not a contest to see who can get the best deal. I buy what I want at the best price and never tell what I paid. Condition is everything with me. riceone. _________________ Most people who preach tolerance are very intolerate. |

I'd offer $175 and expect to pay $200. Its in less than half the condition of the nice one, ought to be half the price. Thanks for posting. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |
