|
|
Took the kids shooting this weekend, we shot a little bit of this, a little bit of that...Nothing is as it seems, if you can name the models/types and calibers, I'll buy you a cool refreshing beverage at the shootout, you'll have to go get it yourself though....
Bonus points if you can ID the series'. _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |

That's it, both Arisaka's have been converted to .410....Makes for interesting shooting. Riceone replaced the barrel on the 99 with a .410 barrel....I noticed the Type 38 late on a Sunday at a show. Its matching, mummed, sporterized, and the original barrel bored out and rechambered to .410. I'm contemplating refitting it to a more 'original' appearance.... _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

For some reason I thought you already had one....I think the 'Destroyer' carbine with trench mag would make a awesome 'riot gun'.... _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I messed up at the last gun show, knew it a day after I was there, one of the guys had .410 brass rounds for really reasonable, and I had my head up my arse and didnt grab some, knew I wanted them for some reason, and spaced off why, I think they'd be slick as sh*t in those conversion guns, I wanted some for my enfield and your arisaka's now i gotta try and find the guy again next show. |

I've have heard for years of folks converting the Type-99 over to a 410 and never seen one much less owned one yet. That could a project for the next beater I find. |
