Hello, I'm needing some opinions. Printed on cotton. You can see in the two corners where the ties/reinforcements were removed. The only thing that reacts to UV are a couple stains (excited Marines?). It measures approx. 57"x42" (144 x 106 cm) The colors bled through on a couple places, don't know if thats normal? Also, I'm a lost on what the avg. price is for these? The only bigger ones I found were on the dealer sites and looked a little high. Do the IJN flags run higher or same? Thanks, Tony

I'm not an expert however the flag looks good to me. Mike Bortner (MikeB on WAF) is the expert. I'd PM and ask him what he thinks.

Navy flags are usually quite a bit more expensive.

It looks alright. Price wise, I don't know. I have one similar, a little smaller on silk that was given to me. I don't really follow prices much. Maybe someone will chime in. Trey

A good site to study all the various flags from Japan is http://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/jp_.html#military

As for pricing just check the auction sites and they will give you a good idea of what prices are being asked for and what they are bringing. The San Jose based site normally have a couple dozen on sale at any one time.
