The 2 museums here have 2 interesting pieces. One is a T44 (no bayo) with a well beaten dark stained stock. It sits in a huge plexiglass case, so there was no way to ID it beyond seeing an intact mum. The other is a T99 last ditch Toyo Kogyo series 35 #4084 with ground mum. Condition appears good; there is no upper hand guard. The notes on them say they were taken on Attu, but I'd say maybe on the 44, no way on the 99. |

That's an interesting combination to have been taken on Attu. The 35th would not have been produced until late 1944, early/mid 1945. Thanks for posting. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!
