Just as an aside, I once talked to a Veteran who brought a Light Nambu gun back from Japan, and the Vet relayed that when he got ready to go up the gang plank, the Petty Officer at the bottom said, "You can either throw the bolt and magazine, or the whole gun into the bay".

Hence the guns are often found in this country without bolts and magazines.
