No serial number, no numbers anywhere except on the bottom of the receiver which is #7. Most parts carry the "sha" inspection marks. Bolt also has the small "o" second class mark. No recoil lug. Stock cut for cleaning rod but no hole in the metal insert in the front barrel band. Stock has the "to" and "se" marks along with the two lines in circle second class mark. In stock by bottom drain hole is "X" Stock cut for rear swivel but one never installed. Stock cut for metal butt plate but wooden butt plate nailed in it's place. Data sheet to follow. Enjoy the photos.

now that there is pretty cool. You'll need to bring that one north some time. Got to hold that one to make any quasi-qualified comments. Thanks for posting. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |

Yea, kind of figured this one would have to get dragged north for preview. Maybe you and Kenny need to do a display on these no number 37th series. |

I just picked up a 27th series from the early batch using an early stock with filled in holes etc to allow for use of a Substitute Type front band and receiver. Need to catch up and will then post pictures.

I saw one recently on GB, looked like a good one. I need a good stock for a spare I have. Looking forward to the pics. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!
