I recently purchased a Type 14 dated July 1940 ("15.7"). It has the elongated trigger guard and the earlier style cocking handle. Can anyone help me identify the manufacturer? It has Nagoya Arsenal's emblem (two circles inside a larger one) stamped on the right side of the frame. It also has what looks like a PanAm globe under a cross with it's arms bent downward stamped to the right of the Nagoya mark. I can't find any info on the internet.
Thanks in advance,

Your markings are referred to as Nagoya (2 circles inside 1 circle) and the fancy mark is the Nambu Factory mark. We refer to these as 'Nagoya Nambu' or 'Kokubunji' manufacture. They produced about 1000 that month. Thanks for posting. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |
