im trying to identify a rifle with japanese markings,it was made in 1940
it has 3034 and 2.22 on it it also has a stamp on it that looks like a crown

Frank, if you can send me some photos I'll post them, and we should be able to figure it out. From your description, nothing comes to mind. Where are the Japanese markings located? Stock? Receiver? Other? What style rifle is it, Mauser? Japanese? That sort of thing. Thanks for posting. Trey
