Hey all,

It may seem strange and I probably won't have much success here, but
why not? I'm looking for any information on where to purchase a Type 96
or '99 light machine gun. Or, if anyone has one that they might sell.
I don't have the funds right now to get something like that now, but am looking for the 'future' (possibly fall or winter 2005)
Any kind of information is greatly appreciated.

FYI I've gotten into Pacific-style reenacting at the Nimitz museum in Fredericksburg, TX and would really love to have a LMG for the shows that we do there. (Like the Iwo Jima +60 event **which was HUGE**)

I have found the best luck looking for japanese mg's on the sturmgewehr.com website. They don't come up often, but I have seen about 6 over the last year or so. Also, subguns.com has a nfa sales sight which has listed a few. Tracy
