Always on the search for neat stuff, I came across this a few years ago. It is 57 pages long and looks to be a children's song book, with music, and lyrics in Japanese and English, printed in the Phillipines during the Japanese Occupation. See pictures below.





The rightmost picture above is of the back cover. I think it shows the characters for Showa 18.11 at the bottom.

I'm guessing it is war era, due to the use of Nippon instead of Japan in the lyrics and the general content of the songs. I was wondering if anyone out there had any more information. Thanks, Trey
