Finally found an early one of these with the strawed parts. Been looking for several years for one of these. It goes nicely with my all blued example. The strawed one is #998 and the blued one is 3450. The hightest strawed example I've recorded is # 3316. The parts strawed are the ejector, bolt catch spring, trigger, sear, sight spring & screws. Now I need to find both of these variations in the T-K longs.

Dogs -

Very nice indeed! I have not seen one for sale down here since I arrived (2000)!

Thanks Frank,
This is only the third one of these strawed Nagoya that I've owned and is by far the nicest. On one of the others the straw was so oxidized that it looked like a totally blued rifle - but it wasn't. There seems to have been a pretty crisp change in these from straw to all blue. I once had 3044 (strawed) and have recorded 3316 as the highest number with strawed parts. My 3450 is all blued as is 3455 that I recently sold.
