I'm testing the 'add image to post' stuff found at the bottom of the text box. Below are some pics of JB200 and JB205 (Johnson's designation) more commonly known as the Type 100 bayonet. _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

Trey,
Was the wrapping on the bottom type 100 done buy the Japanese or do you think it was done by a GI? I just purchased a very scarce Variation A Kokura Hourglass with some wire wrappings. _________________ Life Is For Service |

George, I feel like the wrapping may have been done by the Japanese, to snug up the fit, and to have a supply of wire handy. If it were more 'ornamental,' I'd lean towards GI done. I don't guess we'll ever know though. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!
