One caame with my latest 89 purchase. Examined it last PM, has lower strap, but never has the "keeper( think 'belt loop") as does the canvas carying cases. Has the 'keeper' sewn vertically (with long axis of the case) about half way up but no sign, stitch holes, for the upper strap which held the shoulder atttachment.

It appears this variation was a cover and not a carrying case? Can anyone add to this post?
