I like to keep abreast of the various urban legends running around and use www.snopes.com as a frequent reference point. They generally attempt to verify or disclaim and respond to the various emails we all receive regarding everyday life. Today I saw a post at http://www.snopes.com/military/isabel.htm, about the sentries at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and their actions during Hurricane Isabel. I am not allowed to copy and post the text so please follow the link above for the article. I felt it worthwhile to share. More information and pictures can be found here. I'd like to thank all of our servicemen and women, past and present for their contributions and dedication to honor and our freedom. Thank You Vets! Trey |
