This turned up at the TMCA show, a Mukden/Hoten 45th series Type 99, this makes 3 extremely rare Japanese rifles in three years that have turned up at this show (Love of Country Type 38, Mukden 45th series Type 99, Type 918 Rifle).

As far as I know, all but one came in in the same batch here east of the 'Big Muddy', one is reported to have come in in a shipment received on the West Coast. I only have modern datasheets on 2 of these rifles, and one receiver. I'm going to double check that both of these have the same import stamp. I believe the same gentleman had them, and just didn't realize that he had more than one. Trey
