I have a 38 carbine that is a Chinese conversion to 7.62 x 39. The gun is still in cosmoline -- I've wiped off just enough to look at the action. The mag box has an inverted U shaped block in the rear; the follower has had the top taken off and shortened to fit inside the U block. The floorplate is a unique homemade brass piece. It is made of two pieces of sheet brass cut, shaped and hand riveted together to make it. In fact, it almost looks Viet-Cong made. The mum has been carefully taken off and smoothed over. The Type 38 characters are still there. All in all it's a neat item. I'm asking $225.00 plus $15.00 postage. I'll consider trades or counter-offers -- tell me what you have. Pictures availabe on request. I need either an 01 or 03 to ship. Thanks much!
