I picked up this Type 38, 27th series the last day of 2006.
The gun is just about mint. Story on it is that it along with another 27th series, type 38 was picked up in a ware house after the war. Both had the mum removed and both did not have cleaning rods. One has a matching bolt and one was not.
Still for the money, I could not pass it up.

Boy, that is a pretty one, you should never pass up a pretty Type 38 if the price is reasonable. Please remember to do a datasheet for Frank, what is the serial number? I'm envious!

Trey,
The data sheet is already in the mail to Frank.
The serial number is 68957.
And for $125, I had to get it, even if it is mis-matched.
