Looking for a Type 38 cleaning rod for a 27th series.
I think the rod should be a polished one.

Trey,
Sure that would be Great.
I picked up this rifle from a friend who had got 2, 27th series from a guy who's Uncle had picked them up in a ware house in Japan. Neither one had rods or Dust covers. Rifles are about 20,000 apart. Then he had another rifle offered to him, a 28th series that was mint, but no rod in it either.
Think the Japanese took them out to use for something else?

I don't think they could get the rifles out to be issued, as most were probably issuing 99s to new troops, too many fine condition 27ths and 28ths out there for them to have been extensively used. The only ones I've seen that looked used were the 'M' marked ones..... What are rods going for these days? Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |

apparently I traded all of my extra 38 long rods to Rick before I checked to see how many I needed for myself. Oh well, easy come, easy go. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!
