Recently I decided to delve into the world of ammo collecting. It is a huge universe, bigger than gun world. I go to IAA ammo site for knowledge, they use the same software as Castle-Thunder, you guys would feel very comfortable there. But I've also realized that I have NO Japanese ammo, none (except of Norma). Would anyone here consider trading, selling or some other form of exchange. Again, since I have none, even the most common cartridges will do. _________________ sksvlad is at yahoo.com |

Try Ronin48 lodestone@bellsouth.net or Rick Veal rickveal@charter.net I think both of them have some various rounds for sale. Look for Ken Elks' work on Japanese Ammunition titled Japanese Ammunition 1880-1945, There might be a copy floating around on the internet. Good Luck, Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |

sksvlad, I have some original 7.7X58 for the type 99's and also some for the type 92 hmg, , 6.5 X50 for the type 38's and 44's, 8mm nambu, 9mm for the type 26 and some 7mm for the baby nambu. I really don't know what most of the stuff is selling for, but it's relatively cheap except for the baby and 9mm ammo. tnak |

8mm Nambu running around $3 a round at most shows but you can find it cheaper if you look around. 9mm seems to be running $5 a round with 7mm in the $20 a round area. Exercise rounds a like hens teeth to find, expect to pay $75 to $125 for 8mm and since I've never seen a 9mm or 7mm exercise round for sale I can only guess and I'm thinking somewhere a couple of hundred each to say the least. |
