3 of a Kind, and workin' on a Full House, (which was in the room, Mexican Type 38 Carbine, and Type 38 Long Love of Country Marked). I personally think the 'Love of Country' is rarer than anything but the Experimental Paratrooper. Here are some terrible pictures of some very rare experimental paratroop rifles. Top to bottom, Experimental Type 2 Paratrooper ser# 7, Type 100 Paratrooper Nagoya Arsenal, and Test Type 1 (folding stock) Type 38 Carbine, Nagoya 4th series 56K?. It has been put forth that the Test Type 1 may not have been a Paratroop model but more a compact model for use in the Jungles of the Phillipines. TeamArisaka will be listing the Experimental Type 2 on an auction site near you (got 18K?)!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

Alas, the middle one, as well as the rest of the 'full house' (LOC and Mex. Carbine) have been scarfed up. Trey

The "middleone" looks like a real clean example. Was it anchor stamped on receiver? was the Mex. carbine metal refinished?

Middle one had the best metal on a true-100 that I've seen (ok out of 3). All these stocks had been refinished. Might be able to swing the folder if price comes down. Had decided to go to Langley's then got to thinking, I could use the money to pay of debts and apply to folder.

I looked at everything but, the top of the receiver on the T100, might have gotten a picture, will look and see.

I don't think the Mex's metal had been refinished, but I didn't look it over till it was 'selling' so I just looked at it really quick. 1913 date, bottom portion of stamp was light but I don't think it was buffed and refinished. Would have to ask the 'round one'. Trey

I added some more pictures to the first post in the thread, this is the best picture that I had of the receiver, its not very good. I think there is a faint anchor there.
