Here is an 02-45, a 1902 Model Type 35 Action pulled from storage and assembled in 1945 using training rifle, machine gun, and other surplus and available parts into a last ditch or training rifle. This particular weapon has been fitted with a much earlier (Type 30, Model 0f 1897) safety. Note the dust cover rails, lack of serial number, and standard Type 35 bolt with gas shield.
