Here's some photos of the two grenades showing the diferences.
Finally, something good comes out of China! Before these T-10s started showing up they were virtually unknown. Between 1923 and 1932, 152,499 T-10 grenades were produced. The T-91 began production in 1932 and was produced through 1936 with nearly 1 million being produced.
These grenades, with their boosters, were intended for use in the T-10, and later, in the T-89 Grenade Discharger (Knee Mortar). They could also be used as regular hand grenades. They had a fuse time of about 7 seconds.
This is a photo of some other grenades. The round on the left if for the T-89 "Knee Mortar" only. The grenades on the right of the T-91 are the T-97 (esentially a T-91 without the booster & a shorter fuse 4-5 sec.) and the T-99. The T-99 could be fired from a rifle grenade launcher.
