Hello again, today i receive a new extracter for nambu 14, and a new pin?? (do not know the name in english, is the piece which is into the bolt and produces the detonation, needle perphaps??)

I will put same photos because as i order it for a nambu 8mm, now i realise that my firing pin is at least 1/4" SHORTER than the one i received for the 8m pistol, i think that the bolt is different to, and my extracter is different from the one that i received,
so if my pistol as many of you says is a very well done rebarrel perphaps by indonesian, we must notice that they not only rebarrell, they change the bolt and the pieces on it (firing pin, extracter)

any comments??

thanks

There are different length firing pins (strikers) and the related slots in bolts. I'll try and scan a picture of the differences and post it tonight. The Type 14s experienced a lot of firing pin breakage, so the design and length of the firing pin, and cutout in the bolts changed over time. In addition to the addition of a pouch on the side of the cartridge pouch (on the holster) to carry a spare firing pin. While your gun is an early gun, it might have a later, different arsenal bolt in it, which would require a different length firing pin. Clear pictures of the top and bottom of the bolt, and firing pin may help the guys determine what you have, and particularly what you need. Trey

The firing pin or striker over all lengths are 86mm, 73mm, and 65mm.
You could have any of the three.

The firing pin tip came in two sizes, 1.5mm and 1.9mm.

You would need to specify both dimensions to get a correct striker.

To the best of my current knowledge, all extractors were the same- but I will do more reading to check.

I have checked on the extractor size, we think only one was used.

Can you post pictures and measurements of the extractor you have and of the original?
