Don't pass up those local Mom & Pop stores that have 'going out of business sales' even if they aren't antique/junk shops with militaria. I stopped by a local family owned video store that was going out of business, asked if they had any WWII related videos and if they were selling the 'cell phone/video game accessories' case, ended up with this case, Tora, Tora, Tora and The Attack on Pearl Harbor Vol I and II for $3 (tax included). At some point they had tried removing the 'Timex' lettering with goof off or something similar, it scarred up the plexiglass quite a bit, I used rubbing alcohol and cotton ball to remove the rest of the lettering with no ill effects. If I can't figure out how to polish the scratches out of the plexiglass, I may just have new doors made.

Only the top shelf on each side is large enough for a Type 14 or Papa, the other 10 shelves hold Type 94s perfectly and the other pistols pretty well.

There are built in friction clips on each side of the outside of the case for afixing id labels and the sort. A very compact way to display a bunch of pistols or other accessories.

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

Try rubbing tooth paste on the plexiglass and working it. It will help remove the scratches. It takes some effort, but it works!
