Hi, Everyone! I'm new here. I own an all-original early war T99 Arisaka short rifle. The mum is intact, and it has an original dust cover, aircraft sight with wings, full-length cleaning rod. and bayonet. I believe the numbers match as well. This is my only Arisaka...For now. The only thing the rifle needs is an original short- rifle monopod (eleven inches long.) I'm looking to make it complete and keep it all original. Will anyone sell me a correct, original T99 short rifle monopod in nice condition? I do believe one was issued with the rifle when new. The rear band is drilled for one, and there are the characteristic marks behind the front band on the stock left behind by one. Thank you very much![/u][/b]

Welcome to the forum! Monopods are hard to come by, your best chance is ebay, or possibly buying a m/m rifle with pod off of one of the auction sites. Good Luck, Trey
