I bought a type 44 carbine that has had the stock cut down. The bluing is great as is the overall condition except for the cut down stock. Before I drill and tap the reciever and bend the bolt I was wondering if someone (a purist) would be interested in trading either a sporterized 38 carbine or a sporterized 44 carbine for this one before it gets hacked. |

I sure would like to. That's a pretty gun. Let me see what I have in the den of sin tonight. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |

I looked last night, I have a couple of actions, and turned down bolt bodies, but no complete sporters to trade. I would be interested in buying outright possibly if you caught me when I have a little cash. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

Don't have a rifle to trade but do have two Japanese actions with American Caliber barrels. One is a 22-250 and the other is 30-06. You have any interest in something like that. Sure hate to see a good bolt bent. I straighten out bolts all the time. Don't want to interfeere with Trey but I can be contacted at "riceone@bellsouth.net" riceone. _________________ Most people who preach tolerance are very intolerate. |

Thanks but I'm really looking for this caliber as its going to be a starter gun and I love the lack of recoil and bullet choices. I know what I've got here so as much as I hate to take one out of the system I'm gonna hack this one. |
