Time for another question.
I'm not sure how many of you collectors/experts are shooters. That's my end, for certain. I have a new Type 99, and there is no doubt I will shoot it as often as possible. So, what ammunition do you guys use? I am now waiting for some of Mr. Nambu's ammo to arrive, and then I'm headed to range!
But, how about you folks? Who can afford the Norma ammo? Or, even better, do you guys reload? I have dies, but no brass, so Mr. Nambu's brass will also get worked.
Interested to hear.

Mark see the Reloading 6.5 and 7.7 thread here. Graf's and Sons have brass and Hornady ammo for both, now whether they are in stock or not, you'll have to check the website. Mr. Nambu (Mac McCurdy) has good stuff. So you can't really go wrong either way. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |

Thanks Trey! As always, you're here with good advice. I'm not concerned with the reloading, since I've been doing that for something over 30 years. This is just a new caliber. I'll get a chamber cast, and see what sort of chamber I've got when the time comes for new brass. I was mainly interested to hear what type of ammunition is being used. Once I get some more of the bushes hacked off that path, I'll post some news on my own reloading experience. _________________ Still trying to learn what I can, mainly about the Type 99 and Type 38.
