Where can I find out the scoop on the Type 26 revolver. I want details regarding serial #'s, dates, manufacturers, etc. Can anyone plz help me?

There's not a whole lot of info available on the T26 revolver, production started around 1893 (meiji 26 or so) and was probably over by sometime in the 1900-1910 range. There were around 60,000 produced at the Koishikawa (Tokyo) Arsenal. Most were recalled in the mid to late 1920s or 30s and refurbished with a different type finish. They are in 9mm Nambu caliber and are much rarer than they bring on the open market, considering the production figures. Thanks for posting. Feel free to email me if you have any more questions. Trey
