Guys I need a little help with a Japanese rifle, I have I think is a Type 99 but is has an U.S cartouche stamped on the stock, the stamp is OGEK in a box, upside down. Elmer Keith? I read that several Japanese rifles went though an inspection after the war and they were re-barreled? Please let me know what you guys know or think, Thanks for you help. Bill aka tEx

These(or the same one) show up from time to time.

General concensus is that they are a case of a guy with a stamp, gone nuts.
