See ebay: 300266567727 I do not believe this is a Japanese Type 26 revolver holster. Light leather construction, no pocket/pouch for cleaning rod, 12 loops instead of 18. If you just absolutely have to have one similar to this you can have mine for half of whatever this one brings. I'll even pay shipping. Trey

Yeap! That's a French holster for sure. Anther way to tell is the stitching pattern used on the locking block. Here are a couple of photos that may help you in identification of the two types of holsters.
