The question was posed to me about 9th series rifles and their nose caps. Here are a few more pictures of some others. These range in serial numbers from 3996 to 21327. Notice end caps (lack there of), stocks drilled and not drilled for rods, filled and patched cleaning rod catch cutouts, and no cleaning rod cut outs. Bottom drain holes filled, stock wood, and butt plates (I think you can see them) just to name a few in these pictures.

Same as above, different angles. Fullers, no-fullers, adjustable sight, fixed sight, side drain hole, no side drain hole, standard metal butt, thin metal butt, wooden butt, Plum bolt handle, milled barrel bolt handle, dc grooves, no dc grooves...Lots of variation in these.
