Collecting Type 38s can be a lot of fun. You don't have to spend a bunch of money to have a nice representative collection. Type 38s are still one of the most under-valued collectibles out there.

Here are receiver shots, interestingly enough, the ones that are ground, are almost done the same. All were purchased for under $250...Who needs a mum when you can get a whole rifle that cheaply....



00 29913 - Ground, Elongated 'M'
00 35724 - Overstruck, Ground, '1/X' (Bun) Mark
46259 - Normal but 'Bashed' (Had the snot whacked out of it)
00 48610 - Ground, 'Sei' (youth) Mark

Also some variation to be found on the left side of the receiver as well.
