Part I, 13 and counting....
I was sitting in the gun room the other day, and started counting. I realized that I had 99 Weapons of War on the Wall. So I decided to write a song (to the tune of 99 bottles of beverage on the wall), like to hear it? Here it go! "99 Weapons of War on the Wall, 99 Weapons of War, take one down, pass it around, 98 Weapons of War on the Wall..." Kind of grew on me after a while, maybe you had to be there.

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

You have a very nice display. I am trying to convince my wife that I need a room so I can display mine and be able to see them all at one time. Not getting any where. Since I have been in that room I can appreciate it more. roy. |

Thanks for the comments, my wife is reasonably understanding about it, I have this one room, and a bathroom, she has the rest of the house, which seems more than fair to me. When I finish the basement, she'll have everything but 1 bathroom. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

Thanks very much, we've added a 'daughter' recently, so I'm down to just my bathroom right now. Hope to get the other finished in the near future. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

Congratulations.
In the Netherlands were i live there aren't that many arisaka rifles available unfortunatly.
They also have to be deactivated.
Just bought one later type 99 carbine if i'm correct.
It has a wooden buttplate. |

Nice display Trey! I don't quite have 99 weapons of war on the wall, but here's what I do have.
I live in a one bedroom cottage & this is the bedroom, so I live in the living room (gives it true meaning!). I consider myself very lucky to be single - never met a woman I could trust enough to marry, after the one time!
Here's a late addition.

I'm really hopin to "Harley" out to the shoot next year. That should be a really neat experience. Think I'll take two weeks off with the shoot weekend being right in the middle. Now with the GF gone, I can use my vacation as I see fit. Looking forward to the rest of the count Trey! |
