hello,
i am an antique deller in connecticut and come across japanese rifles all of the time. i have been using this site for a few years now. it is a great site! i just purchased a rifle from an estate and cant identify it. it has no marking on the top of the reciever at all. it never had any and has never been ground. also on the left hand side it has no marking or serial number. the only markings i can find are japanese letters impressed into the butt stock. anyone have any ideas? i can send pictures. my email is measr@yahoo.com
any help would be greatly appreciated!
thank you, mark |

Here are the pictures of Mark's rifle. He's indicated that it will be for sale.
It is a Type 38 style trainer, nice looking school brand on the left side of the stock. Looks like it will clean up some.

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon! |
