I have a 9th series Izawa Juno. It's in almost new condition and surprisingly accurate. I've always wondered what the term "Izawa" means. |

Izawa was the name of the subcontractor who made the rifles.
And it is Jyuko, not Juno. _________________ 03man

mmmmmm. Izawa Jyuko. I thought Izawa was the Factory name, and Jyuko had to do with 'weapons/rifles'. I'll get clarification. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

Smokey, can you post photos of your Izawa? These 9th series Izawas cover a wide range of variations. _________________ "A woman, a dog & and a walnut tree. The more ya beat em, the better they be" (From "The Red Bagde of Courage") |

got this reply for edokko:
Quote: | ...The correct full name of the contractor is "Izawa Juho Seizo-sho" meaning "Izawa Firearms Manufacturing Co.". Izawa is the name of the company and comes form the founder and owner name.... |
