Understand there will be no food served unless Blevins arranges a caterer. Henry has no help this year, Barbara and Ruth have other plans and she is not going to cook for 50 or 60 people, many strangers, some that do not pay. I've suggested sandwiches for years, but Blevins wants big meals. I know Trey loves cooking the roasts all night and will miss it. There is always Ft. Payne for eats, but it might be wise to check with Blevins before making plans to attend.

The Western (Langley) shootout will be held on April 28 in the desert outside Wickenburg, AZ. Large crowd coming, Australia to Alabamie. Lot of the collectors from the People's Republic of Kalifornia will be there. Attendies staying at a Wickenburgh motel, fun parties Friday and Sat. night. The 22nd Annual,2007 Blevins Shootout is a GO! It is Memorial Day Weekend 25-26 MAY. It will be a little different from past Shootouts. Food through Friday evening meal is an individual responsiblitiy. Saturday's food will not be the standard BBQed Pork as in the past. Friday evening we will reach a menu consensus, collect money and buy food for Saturday. It will likely be Hot dogs and Hamburgers. Steak and Chicken are options, but depends on the depths of the attending pockets. Be prepared to give about $15 dollars to cover utensils, paper plates and the porta-pottie. Post or call Bobby if you have any quesitons.
