Just got this from the list of rifles Doss is selling. S/N 207. Full mum, staked screws and completely matched. A very nice addition to my slowly growing Izawa collection.

Trey, what is the lowest S/N you've recorded for this series? MRoJ mentions long & short rods in this series. This one has no hole for a rod & the round catch hole is plugged

That is the lowest reported (no datasheet), the lowest reported with a full data sheet is 262. I don't think these used rods, I believe rods had been dropped by this time. Trey

So Doss dropped the ball Rolling Eyes I'll get a data sheet to you.
Just noticed that this rifle has a chrome bore. My other Izawa 9ths don't.
