Here are two reasons why you don't walk past that ratty Japanese Rifle at a gunshow or online. Normally you'd pass right by this sort of crap from the first picture:


The last one sold that I know of, metal not near as nice as this, 3K+! One of 12 known. This one, has dual arsenal marks, 1 of 2 known! Make me an offer! Hah!

This is a typical chinese condition import when you walk by, nothing to inspire desire.

the serial number arsenal mark might give you a clue:

Then when you roll it over to see if the mum is there:

Wow! 7.9 mm conversion, Better than a mum!
