Some pretty neat stuff there. My Dad displayed Colt pre-.45 Autos (1900-1945) thru final .45 Auto.

the Colt automatics are (left to right),
1900 w/sight safety, 1900 Modified (removed) sight safety, 1902, 1902 Military, 1905 .45 auto, 1911, and 1911A1. The first 4 are all .38 auto. Last 3 are .45 auto

I displayed Hen's Teeth, 2 1/2 Mukden Type 99s..

Odd Parade Saber
This is there, don't think I've ever seen one like this. 34" overal length including scabbard. Whazzzit?

As usual, a pleasant time visiting with friends. Saw Lolo, Oopy38, Alsaka, and Jhrrat to name a few. No money to buy anything so I stayed pretty close to the table. Helped some folks with IDs, a gentleman is looking for a Siamese Mauser Bayonet and Scabbard in Very Good condition, if you have one, drop me an email and price. I'll call him and let him know. Trey

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

Trey, if I read "Jim Dawson's" book correctly you have a Type-19 field grade officers calvary dress sword, with late war (brown/tan) Type-94 "shin-gunto" and the proper field/general grade dress belt hanger. What kind of shape is the blade in? Once again I see you and your Dad have put on a very nice display.

Dale, thanks, after I'd posted it I sat down with the same book (the Dawson's) I figured the Type 19 field grade Cavalry Dress Sword. The shorter blade length sort of puzzled me as I thought Cavalry swords were normally longer. Blade was pretty decent, a couple nicks, and a fair amount of freckling but the fake temper line was strong. The tassel was more orange/brown, the lighting there is horrible in the pictures it looks more tan/brown. Thanks for the help. Trey

In case someone is interested, the Colt automatics are (left to right),
1900 w/sight safety, 1900 Modified (removed) sight safety, 1902, 1902 Military, 1905 .45 auto, 1911, and 1911A1. The first 4 are all .38 auto. Last 3 are .45 auto. We had a great time at the show.

Thanks for the update, he didn't want much money for it. It would go good with my Army and Naval parade sabers.

I ended up getting it. Sort of glad I did. Now that I think about, I don't know that I'd seen one before. Maybe on a display table, but not for sale with 'goodies' for a reasonable price.
