Can you please help me ID and value these guns. Made a great buy and I have some interest to buy them but I have no idea where to price them.

Looks to be a nice haul...You don't mention whether or not all parts are matching, its hard to put a value on stuff from pictures. Note which ones match and which ones don't, whether or not the dust covers match and if cleaning rods and monopod are original.
23rd series Type 38 with sling, a little less than average condition
30th? series Toyo Kogyo Type 99 with sling nice condition
Matsushita National Type 30 bayonet with frog
$85-$125
Tokyo Type 30 Bayonet with no frog
$50-$75
Kokura 26th? series Type 38 Long Rifle with sling good condition. lacquer on stock?
Kokura 25th series Type 99 short rifle, badly refinished stock
Sporterized Nagoya 0 series Type 99 short rifle

I didn't pay to much for that old Arisaka, I just bought it a little bit too soon!

not sure if the numbers match on the bolts on all of them because they have markings that look like Japanese on the bolt handle on the two with slings. I do know the dust cover numbers don't match but the monopod and cleaning rods are correct and matching. The 0 series is interesting to me would be cool if I could find a stock for it. The kokura 26th 38 has been laquered and has a ground mum and a M1 garand sling but should make a fun good shooter. The Kokura type 99 the stock doesn't look refinished to me. Its alot rougher than what it looks in the picture but you'd know better than I. |

I don't really pay attention to GB/Ebay/AA prices that much other than to go "Damn, that is ridiculous". So what I'm going to give you are the prices I would consider buying at if I had a big wad of money.
Assuming all parts are original....and rifles are matching
The slings look good, so if still flexible figure $85-$150 each if they are complete.
23rd series Type 38 with sling, a little less than average condition
$275-$350 (that includes $100 for sling) assuming its matching, stock looks refinished or steel wooled...
30th? series Toyo Kogyo Type 99 with sling nice condition
I recently bought one not quite this nice, with muzzle cover and matching dustcover for $500 (Kokura 23rd series). So $450-$650. I've seen them go much higher on auction but that's a pissing contest, I'm just not sure they are worth that much.
Matsushita National Type 30 bayonet with frog
$85-$125
Tokyo Type 30 Bayonet with no frog
$50-$75
Kokura 26th? series Type 38 Long Rifle with sling good condition. lacquer on stock? I like this one better than the 23rd, for some reason, even with the lacquer, $275-$325
Kokura 25th series Type 99 short rifle, badly refinished stock
$150-$175
Sporterized Nagoya 0 series Type 99 short rifle
$125-$175 you'll need (unless you get lucky) about $350 in parts to get it back original. You might be able to trade one of the complete rifles for the parts...
Sword
I like swords, but have absolutely no idea of value, someone else will have to chime in. If anyone wants to send me a bunch of swords to have and study up on for future reference, go ahead....
In all its a very nice batch. Again, I'm not up on current values, these prices are what I would be willing to pay if I had the money and saw these available at a show. Please be sure to fill out the appropriate data sheets and send to us. Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!

Wow what a concise and honest estimate. That really helps a ton. I want to send you money just for your time spent. Anyway I have four boys and a couple beater arisakas I figured I give them each one but maybye these instead and sell the other ones at some point. Hell maybye keep them all and become an Arisaka junkie. Thanks so much I hope someone will chime in on the sword. |

No problem, like I said, these are just what I'd 'no brain it' pay, if I had the money and saw the items at a show. If you took the time to put them on auction you might get more, or less....It always takes two to tango on the auctions for the crazy money....There is a paypal button at the bottom for donations. Let us know if you have any more questions...Good Luck, Trey _________________ Subscribe to BANZAI!
