sorry for the delay, a partial translation was emailed to me, it indicates the left kanji is for ships/navy, and right prepare/build/set up. Hopefully Edokko will drop by and clarify. The guys (collectors) that know helmets will want to see the inside, any markings, and liner. Looks good to me, but I'm not an equipment guy. Trey

first photo has the number 7 that appears feint and was painted in black?

last photo at right edge of brim was told by another it was a name also feint and painted in black
